I will give all of you a download link contains a zip file which has the character creation instructions (including the setting), a character sheet (which you will fill out) and a copy of Song of Sword's manual.

You will need to read through the manual's pages about character creation and combat.

Here is the setting:

You are under siege. Under attack by foreign invaders, the great city of Fasna stands alone.

Surrounded by a great host of troops, there is only one escape: the great mountain range to the west.
Just beyond the lush Adder forest, the mighty mountains named Tes, Veros and Dovk stand tall.

While proving an untraversable barrier for an army, it would suit as a great hiding spot for a handful of men...

Fasna is a free city and rules itself. No army will come to it's aid. While the city does have a strong garrison and high walls, it cannot sustain itself without food imports from outside.

You must find a way to escape the city and avoid the besieging army at all costs. You have no idea how long you can survive in this deathtrap. The siege has been going on for about a week now. Even under rationing, the city's foodstocks will not last long.

You personally are one of Fasna's many citizens. You had your reasons to come here, but now you share the same goal with everyone else.

Right now you are in a popular local tavern - the Gravely Inn - and met a few very similiar minded people there.
Together you decide to forge a plan to escape this doomed city while you still can.

As you might imagine it's a center-european late medieval timeframe. Slight fantasy things might be included.
