Welcome to the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion

2nd Marine Raider Battalion is a ArmA 3 Military Simulation unit based off of the United States Marine Corps' Marine Special Operation Command (MARSOC). We take operations very seriously as we're striving for 100% realism. Simulating the real life military and its procedures are what is important to us. We do realize that this is a game so we do not pride ourselves on yelling or degrading people. Just beware, that this unit is not for anyone and the recruitment process is hard to enter.

2nd Marine Raider Battalion is organized, trained and equipped to deploy globally for missions as directed by MARSOC. Each Marine Special Operations Company (MSOC) is task-organized with personnel and equipment capable of executing the full spectrum of special operations:

* Direct Action (DA)
* Special Reconnaissance (SR)
* Unconventional Warfare (UW)
* Counterterrorism (CT) & Counterinsurgency (COIN)
* Information Operations (IO)

For our aviation support, we are assigned 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) also known as Night Stalkers. They are special operations force of the United States Army that provides helicopter aviation support for special operations forces such as the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion.

Its missions have included attack, assault, reconnaissance, and transportation and is usually conducted at night, at high speeds, low altitudes, and on short notice.
