24S. Changing The World, One Stream At A Time.

As i said earlier, 24S prep is now well underway. Allow me to digress on that ever so slightly ;)



Everything you know about 24S will most likely be changing over the course of the next few months. As the title suggest 24S 2019 (Aka. The Grand Tour... aka. A New Chapter...... :| ) is the beginning of a new era for the fundraiser. I know they say ''if it ain't broke, don't fix it'' but seeing as we have all these new changes being implemented into 24S anyway... Why not just revamp the entire event and make it even more awesome?!? or terrible...



One of the biggest changes to the 24S fundraiser is how many people are planning it. We used to have a team of over 10 people just planning and coordinating everything. This is before you have the minions who make event control saves etc etc... That number has been cut down to 3 people, now this may sound like an absolutely insane thing to do... But there's method in our madness, as will become clear over the coming months :D



Other small changes thus far include:



- A different approach to our marketing campaign, one that will be far harder hitting than any we've produced previously

- The charity itself, now while you all know what the new charity is called... There are a number of ripple effects that this new charity choice will have on the event (ranging from marketing to truck skins)

- The re-introduction of our Twitch community, where all the 24S streamers can be found in one place... annoying each other probably :troll:

- Introducing several of the new DLC's into the event itself, there are many uses for all of them... But it's making sure they are used correctly that is causing mischief.



Now all these changes may sound very exciting, but we all know a few of you are probably concerned that this may take away from the charm our fundraisers have. ''Organised chaos'' as some of you may call it... The short answer is no, the event itself will still be a massive party designed to really annoy the hardcore ETS2 fans (sorry lads...). Consider it plastic surgery, it's going to look very different but deep down the heart and soul of 24S is there... Well all the time the team are having massive accidents, and i'm sending the lead trucks into orbit it should be business as usual... probably



Anyway, that's enough rambling... Hopefully you're all slightly more clued into what's going on behind the scenes here at 24Mess (wait, wrong title). To say thanks and to build abit of hype...
