1st North Carolina 'Sharpshooters' C Company

Our Company though small is hoping to become a formidable fighting force on the field of battle. We will specialise in Skirmish tactics, forward of the main Line infantry, scouting and providing cover for the advancing army. We will of course however if commanded, fall into line and fight more conventionally if required. Being friends first and players second our Company doctrine will be one of close cooperation, focusing on fun and a special 'esprit de corps' only found by working closely together in difficult situations. We will never be a huge Company, commanding 10's of men but will aim to be a small group of professional soldiers, good at what we do and feared by the Union. With regard to 'Realism & RP' we will nod towards to units proud heritage and the 'feel' of the ACW but not be overly stifled by ranks, orders or bureaucratic clan rules.....

We are UK/EU/US based and hope to attach ourselves to General A.P Hills 'Light Division' for organised battles and also fall in with an organised Confederate Army structure.
