Hey Guys,

Within the next couple of days, the 1 Royal Irish will begin active, public recruitment to gain new Rangers and Pilots in our group. However we will not lower our recruitment standards for anyone, we won't have another members like Ceaser. Every person that goes through Training and the Selection Process, you can be assured is a good bloke that wants to be here and do well.

Let's crack-on with training and get ready for our next deployment... which is already in development!

End of Op Panther

Well done lads, we've made it to the end of our tour of Sangin. RTB and start Training!

Our Home Deployment will last between 4-6 weeks and consist of a number of blank and live fire exericises designed to improve and refresh what we know, as well as practice working with Pilots and an Air Arm. The FST will also spend time using the Javelins, GPMG's and Mortars on the Live-fire Ranges and getting to grips with those. By the end of it we will be ready to deploy at a moments notice on Operations around the world!
