Backstory

The 17th Airborne Divison, a Division of Paratroopers primarily, was led by Major Gerneral Miley from 15 APR 1943 through 16 SEP 1945. They were one of the Airborne Divisons that were in the Battle of the Bulges Theater, and took part in Operation Varsity. After Germany and its "Third Reich" had colapsed, the 17th took part in maitaining the occupation, and after that they we inactive, untill 3 JUL 1948, breifly as a training Divison, becoming completly inactive bye 1949.
