2006Scape, an accurate reproduction of the 2006 era of Runescape. This is a legitament remake of Runescape in 2006. Most Runescape players agree that the 2006 Era of Runescape was the best time for the game. This is a time when the game was generally "better" (in most peoples opinions). A time before they removed the wilderness. A time before God Wars Dungeon and Godswords. A time known as 2006Scape. 2006Scape will always be free and you will have full acess too the game's entirety.

Private Testing Has Started!

Private Testing has finally started! As promised in the Behind the Scenes November, we have a week (possibly more) to test the server and find bugs! The Private Testing is for administrators and moderators only, and this is so that we can test the game in a smaller group without having to deal with other issues.

Along with the Private Test, I promised that I would post a forum thread where I will be updating you with pictures! You can find that thread by clicking on this link. The latest images will be added at the top of the post, and I will be updating it as regularly as I can!

The days grow shorter, the nights grow longer and it’s time for spooks and fiends to roam the globe. Yes, it’s Halloween and, with that in mind, we have a rather special gallery for you this month: it’s everything ghastly and ghoulish! We've been through all of your sinister Halloween-themed entries and selected the very best that the community had to offer.

The entries featured are all spinetinglingly awesome, but two of them really stood out for us. Congratulations to Erik Brorsson and Bithon - both of these artists have created brilliant drawings for 2006Scape and I'm sure you'll all agree!

Don't forget, Christmas is just around the corner and we want to see your festive visions of 2006Scape. Beautiful, humorous, unconventional – it’s up to you. The featured artist will have their design will appear in the Downloads and Wallpapers section of our website for everyone to view and print out. I investigated it for about 10-20 minutes, and it looks fairly promising. However, I think it's too little, too late for me. I have GW2.

The developers and moderators at 2006scape are doing their best too make this a true too life remake of the game. There are about 277K members registered, as this has been a project for nearly a year now, and they've been hard at work trying to make everyhting like how it was back in 06.
