way more less than non kernel anti-cheat - Vanguard is the best anti-cheat in gaming at the moment.
Played Valorant also, 0 cheaters in 100 games.
Mate, are you for real?
EVERYONE knows VAC isn't working. Stop this bull.
Correction: it is not working the WAY YOU THINK IT SHOULD. So please create a better system and become a millionaire overnight...
then go play Valorant. bye bye
You don't want to play without cheaters.
What does that mean?? Lol..
I agree with that comment on your profile. You really are a whining child.

Do you know how VAC works?
A cheat that is known to VAC is detected almost instantly. The account is then flagged for a ban. The application of the ban is what is delayed for the reason here:
It should be noted that VAC employs the use of delayed bans in order to disrupt the development process of cheats - a ban imposed today may have been the result of a cheat detected by VAC two weeks previously.

Want instant bans? Keep reading.
You're helping cheaters AND cheat devs with any kind of instant cheating ban. So, if you are against cheating, you DO NOT want instant bans. Cheater is banned instantly. Cheater goes back to cheat maker, cheat is updated. See the problem here? There's a reason why bans are delayed.
Yup the community does suck. VAC bans use to be temporary.
Valve doesn't owe the community. The community owes Valve. The community AGREED not to cheat when creating the accounts. So........
You may not use Cheats, automation software (bots), mods, hacks, or any other unauthorized third-party software, to modify or automate any Subscription Marketplace process, the process of Steam account creation or otherwise in interacting with or controlling the processes or user interface of Steam, except to the degree expressly permitted.

Valve started working on a "long-term solution" for cheating in 2001. VAC's initial release was with Counter-Strike in 2002. During this initial release, the system only banned players for 24 hours. The duration of the ban was increased over time; players were banned for 1 year and 5 years, until VAC2 was released in 2005, when any new bans became permanent.

Temporary VAC bans were tried. People kept cheating.
Valve was lenient and gave people second chances. Valve stopped being lenient and cheaters were the reason.
Where's your proof?
Might wanna read some of the threads here from users asking to have their VAC bans removed.
You need to have great tools in order to reduce the cheater issue.
Note that the first pages in Premier are basically composed of cheaters.
At the moment, the most efficient anti-cheat is Vanguard from Valorant, even if people hate it or something.
CS2 needs to step up and implement a way better anti-cheat.
VAC as it currently works, it is not efficient.
You don't even know how VAC works or understand why it works the way it does, Much less if it works efficiently or not.
You think you can make a better anti-cheat?
Do it.

Kernel mode anti-cheats are one of those security/privacy nightmares that doesn't really have the right to exist, it exists solely because of oversight and because Microsoft never made the aforementioned move to lock the Kernel down. You don't see these on Linux for very similar reasons, no disro or Kernel Vendor would ever agree to put that kind of rootkit into their distro or kernel.
and a kernel anti cheat allows the developers of said anti cheat unrestricted access to your pc.
you're ok with that?
i'm not.
that means they can make changes to your device without your knowledge any time they want. sure it'd be illegal but how would you know?.
also
what happens to your pc when the people who made your kernel anti cheat get compromised by a hacker? as it's just a matter of time before that happens.
its not the answer to cheating, no matter how much you want it to be. and valorant btw, as soon as the anti cheat devs stop being paid to develop the anti cheat... guess what happens? ten billion cheaters flood in.
