"Cute" on it's own is a positive thing.

But "cute and adorable" together is probably a compliment to those with a youthful spirit but awkward to those that want to present a mature and strong persona.

Well, if the people have spoken, who am I to argue with them?

It’s a casual, harmless compliment - nice enough, though I’d hope people also see me as intelligent. For men who are muscular and prefer to project toughness instead of cuteness, it feels mismatched.

Girls sit around with their friends and compliment each other. Guys sit around with their friends and insult each other. If a guy with with me and my friends and was complimenting everything, we would leave and regroup somewhere else like "Did you see that guy, that was too weird man.".

I would question why the sudden flattery? Specially if they're a random person, i would also question what are their true intentions.
