Today is Thanksgiving. Millions of Americans will celebrate it with their families! In France? NOTHING.
It's a holiday as important as Christmas.

Culinary traditions, activities, the start of the Christmas festivities...

A crazy atmosphere throughout the country.

In France? Nothing...

Especially since they also have Halloween in October.

In France? Nothing...

Zero entertainment, zero celebration, zero traditions...

"Lol, we have toussaint' Day," great. Three old people going to the cemetery to place chrysanthemums on their husband's or wife's grave.

"Lol, we have chandeleur," great. Mom will make pancakes for breakfast and that's it.

Thanksgiving: millions of Americans getting together with their families, crazy feasts, meals that last for hours. American football on TV. Parade.
Christmas decorations put up with the family.

It's warm, lively, there's tons of things to see outside.

In France? Nothing.

Damn. :angeemo:

France has Bastille Day, not nearly as fun but it it isn't something the U.S. celebrates.
The gov is doing its best to get rid of everything related to French culture and traditions, heh, what do you expect?
Don't they have a french fry day?

Everyone stay's home and eats french fries. If not then they should make that a holiday.

Homemade stuffing is only appropriate. That boxed stuff just doesn't cut it. Sure maybe in a pinch, but homemade is the way to go.

Grass is *always* greener on the other side, huh?

Admittedly I do find the Traditional American Chrismas spirit very lovely and wholesome, so I'm kinda a hypocrite here lmao
