Reincarnation is great come back with a roll of the dice if reincarnation is real then why do any of us care about anything? we just gonna die and come back. if only we could remember where we lived before and could go an collect all of our past life stuff, and keep handing it off to yourself

While being born in a sacred place may be seen as a result of good karma, it does not guarantee a spiritual life. Such proximity simply creates more opportunities for it - for instance, the possibility of finding an authentic mentor.

If you believe in that then you need to stop eating animals. Otherwise you might be eating your late great aunt.

Hmm it's an interesting thought. It can seem a little like assuming you had good karma though by being born there. Almost like a way for the locals to say we are better.

And you never know.. maybe its the more sinful past lifers that are born in sacred places in order to gain these opportunities of gurus to correct past mistakes. To me that would make more sense.
