Forcing people onto private corporo based insurance, is Corporatism, which is a form of Fascism.
And is not going to work, being private interests are made to fleece consumers, in effort to make more money.
Money and people living or dying based on greed, is an evil philosophy in my view.
Mr Obama ran on a Public Option Healthcare Bill. Not a Private Mandate, and why Mr Obama let down a whole generation of Americans being they were LIED too.
That being said, Democrats just wasted ALL this time on a matter they later capitulated, and may even fail when its voted on.
Those Democrats who are not already retiring should be Primaried, and Fired.
As far as Mr Trump, all he needs to do is put pressure on Republicans (meaning, threaten as he does) not to give Democrats the 60 votes, end Obomneycare, and in 2028 run on FREE HEALTHCARE. And most importantly, deliver.
Yeah, well, even if that's the case... Trump's Admin claimed back in 2017 to have a better and cheaper healthcare plan, but not quite ready to release it yet. Now in 2025, they claim to have a concept of a plan and that plan is to make a better and cheaper healthcare plan... but first, just get rid of the old one... get rid of it and they promise to come up with something better which currently doesn't exists and they can't show anyone.
Project 2025 plan is to get rid of most of US Healthcare services, but doesn't have any replacement for it. They are just copying that.
DOGE Cuts were all miscalculated AI generated - costing the US Tax Payers $247 million dollars, rather than saving so-called trillions.
Trump's Tariffs were all miscalculated AI generated - using trade in balance across countries, rather than their tariffs towards America (most are none at all). So if you have a poor country exporting minerals to America but not importing much back, they get the Trump tariff applied. Logically that just stops that country from exporting it's product to America or the American company has to pay the Trump tariff, which then likely gets handed down to the US end consumers total cost.
The Democrats at least know this, but even they caved in with the US Shutdown due to Trump holding staving US Citizens as hostage by withholding SNAP benefits he claims can't be paid out during the shutdown, when they can be... it's like wtf?
Both Trump and Musk have done this multiple times, yet do they also live in that alt-reality or just the followers? They previously demanded to get rid of basic fact checking, so they must know right?

Yet he also added "Just the News" at the end, which is odd behaviour... "Just The News" is an online conspiracy theory rag, created by John F. Solomon. During Trump's first presidency he suggested "Trump-friendly stories", also to question females who accused Trump of sexual harassment and question the criminal changes against Trump's campaign manager Paul Manafort.
Trump has gone as far to label Chicago now "THE MURDER CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" due to an alt-reality which doesn't exist.
He's acting out the same for things like Obamacare... perhaps he might dislike it but is using fake information to justify his silly actions.
Anyways, Trump's new concept of a plan for replacing Obamacare currently is just to have Americans to fend for themselves.
Trump will then believe it's good or at least tell you it is, expecting you to accept it as that new alt-reality... just like he's claiming currently about the US Economy and those Walmart Thanksgiving bundles which now cost 25% less, but have 9 less items and cheap budget value products in it now.
Oh i'm not making a case for Trump, i'm just saying this Obomneycare is gonna collapse under it's own weight, because Privatized Healthcare don't work, and is pricing itself out.
We're trying to get away from private healthcare in this country and go to what you have.
Employers don't want to pay decent wages, being they're bearing the healthcare costs for their employees, and many times cant pay even liveable wages having their employees reliant on the taxpayers.
But we can't have free healthcare with the current Defense costs, getting involved and funding others wars, and bankruptingly low federal tax rates.
One day our country has to snap of these delusions, and start to get real in what we have to do here.
If Democrats can't get the 60 votes next month, that will in turn end Obomneycare, being it will be too expensive, which is inevitably what happens.
At that point, Democrats are gonna have no choice but to run on what they originally ran on, which is Public Option or Medicare for All Healthcare.
And for those conservative democrats that won't do it, primary and get them out of office, being they're utterly useless and are there simply to raise money from donors for the party, not the people.
I believe you too are a strong believer in this alt-reality?
Look if you want to get rid of SNAP Benefits, which 42 million US Citizens require even if they have a full-time job... you should first get rid of the American slavery. Get rid of your tipping culture and stop allowing employers under pay their staff with below that of even a living wage. Add a minimum employee wage which they can live upon without donations/begging others and expecting you to pick up their own slack.
Ditto for ObamaCare, it's one thing to want to remove it and another to replace it with something better. So far, the Trump Admin has shown nothing or even worst, yet want to get rid of it first with little to no plan at all what to do instead.
It's not addressing the root cause of the issue at, but rather like oh you are bleeding out with that bloody bandage? Lets just remove the bandage... "Aren't you going to replace it with a cleaner one?"... shh, problem solved now just bleed out as we can't be bothered dealing with you anymore.
Tipping culture is anti-tax culture. "Under the table" wages. Dissolution of the U.S. Government, including SNAP and Social Security Retirement.
The actual staff being tipped are usually tipped sufficiently generously in the USA for it to be seen as better than minimum wage. At the peak of holiday seasons, some of the more attractive and competent wait staff can earn an entire month's salary in 2-3 days.
It is oft said that "Christian Nationalists" do not tip, otherwise Americans are a tipping culture.
I think the hope of the 401k system, of investing into the stock market, would prevail as solidifying purchasing power for the people. I dare say it seems to have the opposite effect.
If we remove the 401k, we will need to replace the 401k with strong Trade Unions/Labor Unions to restore the negotiating power of individuals seeking wages. Let the Trade Unions in a region negotiate minimum wage, rather than establish it at a national level?
Obamacare is a long document I still have not fully read and internalized. The main considerations for Obamacare, as far as I am aware, are:
1. Coverage for pre-existing conditions.
2. Effectively an attempt at a "Single Payer" system, subsidizing the poor and afflicted through "tax paying" healthy citizens.
3. A web portal for shopping for insurance.
The "Enhanced Premium Tax Credits" (EPTCs) temporarily placed in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, expanded coverage for those making up to 4x the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). These EPTCs, or "ACA Subsidies" were already extended, and will need to be expired at some point. Otherwise, instead of softening costs, they will just inflate costs.
