Dental plaque removal?
I know you're supposed to get the dentist to do it. But surely theres something we can do? Haven't they invented a sonic toothbrush that can remove it?

Whats special about the dentist water spray? Do they channel ultrasound through that water?

dentists use metal picks to scrape off the plaque and tartar and the water jets are to wash away any debris.
my dentist gave me a tool called a 'double-ended sulcus brush' which is fantastic for getting in spots your toothbrush struggles to reach.
also, brush and floss and rinse with fluoride alcohol free mouthwash daily.

Just brush your teeth. If you see plaque on your teeth and it goes away when you brush teeth it is gone. Do not brush your teeth it will harden. It can be fragile though I do not recommend ridding off of it yourself. Just listen to your dentist and brush your teeth. Floss too. Make your dentist proud. Make yourself proud.

There is a thing thats almost like a toothbrush but it has a silicone head instead that rotates, there also dental paste that has 1200 roughness or something like that and with that you can remove your plaque, but you have to be carefull, if you do it too much you can destroy yourt teeth with that. Its all on amazon.

Brush your teeth

topically applied fluoride does not prevent tooth decay, it DOES however render teeth detectable by spy satellite

you can ask the oral hygenist to teach you, using your own teeth and a mirror.

you'll need to buy the tools to do it, and ensure you're only removing the layer of calcified material, and not the tooth enamel. generally why you want to leave this to an expert.

potentially there could be an ultrasonic device to do it, since the materials would resonate at (presumably) different frequencies, but i'm not willing to re-invent the wheel for something that has been flawlessly performed for most of my life.

feel free to experiment on one's own teeth, though!

Lol I know you jest.

But there is a huge difference between drinking from water that is naturally flouridated, which means tiny trace amounts bound with different minerals.

And dumping industrial pollution into the water and then claiming its for teeth. lmao.

They should be paying to dispose of the waste properly, instead they sell it to townships for big money and people filter it out lmao.

Once you show signs of dental fluorosis, youve already been exposed to a mega dose of this stuff :/.

Heavy fluoride poisoning causes significant and often irreversible damage to the brain by inducing oxidative stress, inflammation, neuronal cell death (apoptosis and ferroptosis), and disrupted neurotransmission and energy metabolism. These physiological changes lead to severe neurological and cognitive impairments.
Mechanisms of Brain Damage
Fluoride crosses the blood-brain barrier and accumulates in brain tissues, particularly the hippocampus, an area critical for memory and learning. The primary mechanisms of damage include:

Thats why you seen the government reduce the recommended amount in the water when kids were showing signs of teeth staining from the flouride.

Yes, the United States lowered the recommended level of fluoride in public water from \(1.2\) parts per million (ppm) to \(0.7\) ppm in 2015 to reduce the prevalence of dental fluorosis. This change was made because a large number of children were experiencing the mild cosmetic effects of fluorosis, such as white spots or streaks on their teeth, due to increased fluoride exposure from other sources like toothpaste. The new recommendation aims to strike a balance between preventing cavities and minimizing the risk of dental fluorosis.

Mild lol, its like the "teflon flu", short term effects arent to bad.

Long term effects are unknown.

You know, flint michigan should have been a lesson to everyone, the government doesnt care about you or or your health.

I wonder what your education level is. Do you realize there are several types of fluoride and that it actually is beneficial for you. Like your french fries? There fluoride in them. And it's not a forever chemical.

I find sandpaper works nicely for that.

mouth wash first....this breaks up things and kills everything off in the mouth.....then floss.....after brush your teeth

never use mouth wash after brushing as it will get rid of things like enamel builders

Brush, floss and watch what you eat. Personally I always rinse or drink water after eating sweet/sugary foods. When you brush, just spit and don't rinse (despite instructions usually saying to rinse lightly). The fluoride in the tooth paste will help your teeth and you shouldn't eat within the hour of brushing.

If your teeth is already yellow then it’s probably gonna stay yellow for some time even if you do decide to brush often. If you over-brush then you will just be damaging your gums at that point.

As a person with very good dental insurance (10,000 dollars is covered a year) I had to get my wisdom teeth removed, my teeth bleached, and braces (which made me look younger than I already am).
