Or you know, to speed up the preparation of pasta, by pouring boiling water in the ... whatever the name you use for the "casserole" kitchen thingy.
- invention literally designed for tea? nay!
- use box full of radiation instead? yea!
Sadly, most kettles sold here are over-designed and under-engineered (like basically every product), so they still can't rival their UK counterparts, which I used when I was across the pond.
BTW, i didn't ask the first time, but you really like your tea salty, or you just proud of a past event ?
Yeah ! That's what i'm talking about ! :D
... and do you think your entourage is the same, or that you're a outlier ?
I do not know about the electrical specifications but as you said it's a problem wating to be solved. All i know is that it is convenient AND it wastes far less energy than a stove-equivalent. For the energical bill between a kettle and a microwave i don't KNOW, but my guess is that kettles are far more efficient.
Yeah, makes sense for your first paragraph, about your second : isn't almost all that can be found in a US mall comes from China anyway ? The way i see it : it's a business opportunity amongst many others for an US peep to get on the market. But ... just why don't you pack an UK kettle in your bag, anyway ? As i understand, even if you're using one elctrical one, you're on the "US quality" still.
I know you in the UK use instant coffee over the right way. See, this is why your empire fell.
