I wouldn't make a career out of it though. It's fun when you don't have the looming threat of a miscalculation having disastrous results.
i do. both in its efficiency, and ability to cut down massive pages of work into small concise equations. calculus and integration have saved me probably years of writing at this point.
most people probably have an appreciation for the beauty of the mandelbrot set, but likely don't realize it comes off a fractal defined in the complex plane. lol.
there's no escape from math. for any of us. as long as you exist here in this dimensional plane, math will dog your every step. refusing to learn it, is refusing the universe on a very fundamental level.
I did a bit of math when partitioning hard drives back in the day, other computer stuff too, But to your question, No not really.
2 + 2 = 4
3 * 3 = 9
