If i come to the US, will i have Constitutional Rights ?
That's a question i've asked myself from time to time. If i come to the US as a tourism (or even a contracted dude), will i have protections like the First Amendment ?

I mean, the Constitution begins with "We, the People ..." and not "We, the Americans ...", and as far as i know, i'm a people.

So, if i was to insult a cop in the street, can i claim the First ? :D
(insulting, not defamation, nothing on the mothers for example :p)

Freedom of speech is from government censorship.

Pissing of a cop has consequences.

I hope you're not black.

(Pretty sure I'll get banned for racism because context doesn't exist for moderation.)
Go ahead see what happens
If you have ever dealt with US immigration at the airport (and im talking pre 9/11 here), then youll know that you dont mess with them as theyll simply deport you.

"We the people" doesnt apply to you, dear traveller.

No one has constitutional rights. You can clearly see that when a cop turns into chris beniot.
Hahahaha. Good one.

Dont think it applies since the introduction of passports 100 yrs ago. Before that probably yes

Not within 100 miles of an airport or the border. That includes the port in Idaho.

Yes, tourists in the U.S. have constitutional rights.

However, no U.S. citizen or tourist has the right to insult a cop in person. The cop will see this as a threat, and will arrest the offender.

It wouldn't be wise to go there stirring things up

Maybe wait for a democrat as president.

You have basic civil liberty protections but not the full rights of a citizen. You won't be jailed for insulting a cop, but you can have your visa revoked or be forced to leave for non-criminal violations.

Guests visiting another country should be on their best behavior. We the people implies citizens, not guests, and generally attempting to provoke law enforcement or citizens of another country can result in deportation.
Also people can be denied at the border control areas if they appear to have ill intent.

Harassing police is not a right. And if that's what you're interested in visiting the US to do, then stay home.
