Why do people want to live to be 80+ years old?
Wouldn't life be better if we did more sooner, and died faster? For example, if it was normal to get married at 21, retire at 40, and pass away at 50 in a sarcopod?

Reaching old age and still being able to think and do things for yourself is the ultimate achievement in life. It really is the only TRUE accomplishment.
