Europe has had ID for decades, they're doing fine


Europe exists on Napoleonic Law where everything not explicitly allowed by the Government, is banned.

Britain exists on English Common Law, which means that everything not explicitly banned by the Government, is allowed.

Fundamentally, this will move Britain from English Common Law to Napoleonic Law, which is the antithesis of everything Britain has stood for for centuries and is why we were able to end the slave trade and stand up against European tyrants like Napoleon and Hitler. The UK might not resemble a bastion of freedom at the moment, but it will never stand a chance of returning to that once this happens.

I won't say he is the most evil person on the planet (mostly because I believe that would be underselling how evil humans can be), but I'm not exactly a fan of this kind of thing. Hope it won't spill over to my country. Hope. But with the people leading it... I'm not sure.

Yes...

A new law that targets British citizens only will totally help stop the criminals who aren't citizens who have already thrown away their papers, broken into the country and attack people with impunity as they grow in number.

They will totally abide by it.

What they'll do is give those people a fake name, fake age, and slap them with an ID. All this will do is make the immigration problem through Europe, worse, because all those running from crimes will run to the UK to claim a fresh ID.
