Earlier the other day I was sitting in a waiting room. There was this old lady in my peripheral vision. I could hear her sticking her tongue out constantly to her fingers. Before swiping the next page of a magazine. Listen guys.... I dont care if the paper is hard to grip, fold it and use your hands properly. Stop acting like you from a MeatCanyon episode or sum. Going all non-projectile Llama mode.
It was nothing but *lick*, *swipe*, *lick* -*forget to swipe*, *lick again* and *swipe*. Like stop it, gross. I mean like what you think you own that magazine? Like their aint gonna be another person gonna pick it up too? Cmon man.

I had to witness this too. It's disgusting. What is it with old ladies doing that?

Who will tell the old lady that? I can already predict how this conversation goes:
"Excuse me, ma'am? You are eating the germs of hundreds of people!"
"Listen pup, how do you think I got so old? Doing this builds up my immune system!"
End of conversation.

I understand you don't want to say anything about it. Old people usually do not respond well to criticism. By discussing it in front of the old lady, you may become a target to her. Who knows what other horrors she'll unleash upon you?

I feel like that would go places but not places appropriate for a 13+ forum.

Anyways I lick 9v batteries sometimes, it’s nice without being actually dangerous.

It is extremely cringe, but I am sure most people who do this and eat their boogies have a strong immune system. 😅
