Canadians speak with a Canadian accent, and it's blatantly obvious if you listen long enough. Lemme guess--you probably think Koreans, Chinese and Japanese all sound alike, too.

As a person who lives in the United States there are a lot of accents. People from New York talk different from a person in California. A person who lives in Louisiana talk different from a person from Massachusetts.

They really do have their own accent, it's somewhat similar but not the same. Kinda like the Australian and New Zealand accent.

For me I’m from California. So I like to shorten words into 1 word.

For example I say “Imma, Hella, Gunna”. I also emphasize words like “like”. “Like… you knowww…..?”

Americans and Canadians sound like the Nobility of the past going back some time.

Yes, it's so obvious, especially with words that have "ou" and "oh" in them. Americans pronounce these with a hard "ow" and "oh" but they do it in a softer way that sounds like "oo" to the American ear. That's why they sometimes get parodied as pronouncing words with a hard oo, like, "I doon't know what you're talking aboot."

So you're not only saying that you've never heard a Canadian speak without saying so, you're doing the same for Americans. Because we've got multiple accents here in this great nation that is by and large the only one worth ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ living in.

Plus which part of Canada are you even referring to? Furthermore, are you simply referring to the Anglos who stole Canada from the French or the actual Canadians? Because Canada is like the United States of America in that it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ huge. And while not nearly as big as the only nation in the world worth living in, Canada still runs along most of the United States of America's northern border.
