I used to ♥♥♥♥ with some students I shared a house with. I would just leave 7 pence laying around in random places, it was always a 2p and a 5p, sometimes I'd leave 7p on the kitchen work surface, another time on the living room coffee table, maybe in the bathroom etc, eventually they began to notice, one guy said to me 'Have you noticed the 7p thing?', I asked what he meant, he said he kept finding 7p laying around the house, I said I was always seeing loose change laying around, it's a student house afterall, 'BUT IT'S ALWAYS 7P!!!' he said, this time quite agitated, 'A 5P AND A 2P, IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME ♥♥♥♥ING COINS!!!' - 'I never noticed that' I said with a shrug.

Another time one of the girls mentioned it to her friend while I was sat there, her friend seemed genuinely concerned about it, I piped up that I had seen 7p a few days earlier on the window ledge next to the front door, my housemate said she'd seen it too, how weird I said, I wonder what's going on? maybe we have a ghost? The girls looked quite shaken.

Long story short three of my housemates decided that Roger, a social sciences student from leicester must be responsible, mainly because he kept himslef to himself. When they asked me what I thought I said whoever was doing it was probably very disturbed, and that the best thing to do was to say nothing, but to keep a note of every time you find 7p, and then if it keeps on happening maybe speak to him about it, 'But keep an open mind' I added - 'Afterall, how do I know it's not one of you doing it? Or all of you?', this made them pause for thought, then to break the tension I said 'Or it might even be me haha' and they all laughed too.

Poor Roger, they never really treated him the same after that, I kept leaving 7p laying around but i ramped it up by leaving it in more and more bizarre places, like in the fridge or on top of someones shoe, eventually Dan (Physical education student) lost his rag after I left 7p on his car roof, when Roger came home Dan punched him, Roger of course denied all knowledge but this only seemed to make Dan even more convinced of his guilt, the girls of course sided with Dan and poor Roger packed his things and left.

About a week after Roger had gone I left 7p on top of the TV remote control, within 48 hours everyone else moved out and i had the whole house to myself, it took me 7 weeks to achieve my goal and was honestly funny af tbh.
