(Never thought I'd see a case where I'd say that.)
If video was clicked and end up in user YT history. Remove it from history.
Once removed go back to the homepage and refresh it. Then anything in Home that is recommended to you, and no longer wish to see, either that video or the channel who produced the video, simply click the 3 dot hamburger icon next to the video in question and click Not Interested or click Don't Recommend Channel as basically a means to get the algorithm to stop recommending ANY videos by that particular Channel.
Reread what I said this isn't at all my condunrum I am afraid.
You saw a video in Recommended, clicked something else, now that video you saw is gone, and you forgot the title so you can't even search for it.
Had it happen many times myself.
Windows 11's Recall feature would let you rewind your timeline and at least see it again. I don't have Win 11, so I don't know if you can just see it, or even click on it again. But at least you'd be able to search for the video title.
I eventually found it again by dumb luck 6 hours later, what bothered me was just searching for it didn't work because the title and the subject were tangential and for some reason I couldn't find the game the video was abotu to wishlist on steam without typing in the name exactly. Regardless everything resolved itself.
lol what? youtube doesnt make or support extension.
