discounted by $270 .$899 real price

Prices tend to trend downwards, my 4050 laptop was 600$ discounted on walmart a little over a year ago, now the 5050 is about the same, then a next year & a half 6050 pretty much 600$ too following the trend, in 5 months 600$ for a 5050 will be easier to find.

No controller less SSD storage but has a screen, + windows license.

Has never mattered for bulk budget laptops, 50 class cards always tend to be 600~800$ laptops, 800~1100$ for 60 class, 1200+ for 70 class.

never mattered ? not sure .DDR4 are old but the prices have skyrocketed . The laptops with obsolete hardware tend to get cheaper but it s not the case here .i feel it s a sale

Might matter less here in the USA, more so if Trump's 2000$ Dividend Payment goes out by end of 2026, that means most people should buy a 600~800$ home pc/laptop if they don't already have one, it's weird if you don't have 1 if 21+ age, you should at least have something that can do work on it & you keep a spare SSD for gaming, sperate the two.

Was the first 1 I saw after typing 5050 laptop, but yea people should generally wait 3~6 months for a good deal, standard practice unless you need something right that moment, which a gaming device is not needed for, a work device pays for itself, which does light gaming on 50 class cards.

i guess it s a part of a sale . then the price should go up .also check if it s in stock or just a place holder

Yeap if I needed a new laptop I'd buy it instantly, it's a pure upgrade, & could sell this 4050 laptop for 400~500$, but I'm bias for that reason hence why a steam machine makes zero sense.

i had overheating issues with my laptop ,so i dont intend to buy any laptop next 10 years .This one may be fine but i dont want laptops any more.Usually the CPU overheats

Why does the steam machines existence hurt you guys?

I said it's not needed, like 5 of same store in a 3 mile span isn't needed, more so if a better & or cheaper stores are right beside them, but just because it's not needed doesn't there aren't people to be exploited for money not being budgeted properly for, same reason a person buying 5 burgers to eat in 1 sitting, that wasn't needed for their diet, but it's their money to waste on if they don't mind being fat.

All I'm saying is why & who does this help, Xbox should have done this in 2020 personally, a windows dual/hybrid laptop/pc, they missed the boat & it made sense, moving console players to pc.

So I'm conflicted, more so by the people praising it as some novel invention.

the steam macxhine has the same limitations thatl aptop have which is that you can not upgrade it except the ssd while we with our pcs we upgrade any component we want at any time we want
I didnt get a steam machine or controler when they released them for the first time in 2013 and i have no reaons to get them now. I will continue upgrading the pc when it gets old or when a component burns.
Also mine pc is already more powerful than steam machine, xbox series x, and playstation 5 because it is RYZEN 7 1700 RX 6700XT 12 GB RED DEVIL 16 GB DDR4 3200MHZCL15 MP 600 2TB WRITE:4950MB/S READ:4250MB/S DELLP2416D 24'' 2560X1440 60 HZ IPS
The next upgrade will be cpu ram and motherboard in few motnhs when zen 6 releases

in my country(just checed the prices) 32 GB DDR5 6400MHZ costs 200 euros now. Iti s the RAM that AMD recomnds for AM5 and ryzen 9000 cpus1 month ago it costed 140. Maybe it went up becuase of lal those clueless peoople who dont know that you can install windows 11 on your pc with Rufus if your cpu dont support it and they now upgrade their pc and buy new cpu rams and motherboards like crazy!
