HyperX Cloud II bad mic quality
Hey,

I recently got a new Headset because my old one broke,
People suggested me the HyperX Cloud 2 and the sound quality is great,
but everyone on Teamspeak is complaining about my bad mic quality,

Now, if I listen to a recording of myselfe it doesnt sound that bat, even tho not as expected from such an expensive headset.
Is there any option in Teamspeak or Windows to get better mic quality or is this headset just bad?

Right click the speaker down the bottom right, click sounds, then click the recording tab, right click the HyperX Cloud II, then click properties, then click the advanced tab, and select the dropdown box, and set it to the highest quatlity.

Make sure the microphone is pointed at your mouth, otherwise it will be really quiet.

And make sure the Teamspeak server is using the highest audio quality level.

Thank you so much. I've been struggling with this for months.

Are you sure the microphone is pointed at your face?

If you take off the pop filter, you'll see it on the end, it's like a T shape, make sure the longest side is facing your mouth.

u gotta use the audio jack instead of the 7.1 USB connector for the good mic quality, so u gotta sacrafice good audio quality for good mic quality and vise versa
The smart thing has always been get a decent set of headphones and a mod mic or the like instead.

An SHP9600 and a mid will blow gaming headsets out of the water.

Not how that works.
