Microsoft Visual C++
accidentaly removed for one of my fav games, now it no longer launches, how to get the app/program back?

Open the game's directory in your library and look for the visual c installer vc_dist.exe or something similar, possibly in a directory with other installers named dist.
Microsoft has a website you can download the visual C++ libraries in case you cannot do it above. Just google it.
ill check the game directoy thing first, if that fails ill try the website. But it seems each game needs a diff C++ for it so how to pick the right one?
Well, you could install one at a time, launch the game and then try the next installer.
Technically the launch of the game by steam should have detected if the right version was installed or not(and then install the right one automatically), but I guess thats not working for you at the moment. No harm installing ALL of the things you find in the dist folder, but it is overkill.
Also some games will adjust one or two global settings and have to install the thing you already installed if you play a different game and then come back. (Sanctum for instance)
Other than the few seconds you lose there are no other issues.

Bingo... I mean yep.
But you probably have a 64bit machine so install the x64 version if thats there.
got two versions of it and repaired/instealled both.
