Failing that, have you changed any system settings recently? specifically any graphics settings that could override the game settings, this could be a GPU piece of software installed that manages the graphics settings.
I''ve tried updating the drivers before, but not reinstalling yet.
I don't think it's game specific as it affects all games, if it was me, I'd be looking at system settings or graphic card settings that could be overriding the in-game options. Hopefully, a reinstall of your drivers will fix it. The only drawback to a clean install is, if you have any issues with the new driver you can't roll back to an earlier version as they have been removed. Your games are not working at the moment anyway, so it's a risk worth taking in my opinion.
