Anyone have any advice on how to contact them?

I have opened 3 tickets with them now. All for the same issue; I can’t make any purchases.

Without fail after giving me 2 uninformative and unhelpful replies, they closed the Ticket. Forcing me to restart the whole process again, and each attempt ends with the same unhelpful answer with different wording. This is getting me nowhere.

If each attempt ends with different information or possible solutions, I could bear it and keep trying. Instead of being able to continue getting help for my issue, I’m forced to this cycle of annoyance.

Any advice on how to escape this cycle? I don’t expect anyone here can help with my payment issue. I just want a better way to contact them.

are you getting an error message when you try to make a purchase? if so, what is the error message.

depending on what the issue is, support may not be able to assist.

Yes, it’s just an Orange Banner says that my Purchase can’t be completed at this time please contact Support if the issue persists or something along those lines.

Now, if they can’t help me, I can understand that, but then they have to tell me who could. Also, I contacted my Bank, they received no request for purchasing.

Anyway, I don’t suppose you have any better idea on how to contact them? Google is not useful for this, which is very weird for me.

Steam Support has become less-than helpful lately. Especially when it comes to troublemakers that lurk around the forums looking to cause problems for personal gain and get away with it, which has sadly been the case. No amount of reports against them will work, and no amount of images provided will also work either. And the worst they'll get are slaps on the wrists.

That would be due to support dealing with accounting and billing issues and completely separate from op's issue which is actually a billing or account issue. Probably not best to lump this topic in with the other spam

what are you purchasing?
is this for your account or is it a gift for another account?
if a gift, are you using an outside payment or wallet funds?

Have you tried a different payment method? With no specific information to go on, that's about the only suggestion anyone on this forum can make.

If support can't help you and you keep remaking the same ticket, all that will happen, unfortunately, is that you will be barred from contacting them again.

No, but I have tried using multiple different methods, like App and Browser.

EDIT: Try your suggestion, doesn’t help at all, but thanks anyway.

Yes, I have used 3 different payment methods. None of them works.

I… honestly don’t know if that’s a punishment at this point. Unable to use a useless feature is a funny concept

is this for your account or is it a gift for another account?

While I appreciate all the help, I’m not comfortable talking about my Payment Details on public forums. Call me paranoid, but I’m rather overly safe than sorry.

What I am comfortable telling you guys is that their Agents are all about telling me to use different Payment Methods. And then I showed them a Screenshot of my error, they gave me a vague non-answer and then the Ticket was closed. That’s about as far as I ever go with them.

I just took the Screenshot, but stupid question; how do I post it here?

I only just want that one Game right now. But the same problem persists when I try to add Money directly to my Wallet.
