Is Steam Support just useless?
So, basically I send a ticket to steam support they give me a notice that they got the ticket and then radio silence, no further email, no further confirmations or anything. Not even a response to say Hi, yes this can or can't happen etc. Just dead silence. Anybody got any ideas?

Well, I mean, I got community banned once for an indefinite duration. I contacted the support team, and they unbanned me basically the day after I contacted them. I wouldn't call that useless. Seems like it takes a full 24 hours for them to respond to a message though, so you might need to be patient.
they will ignore you if you keep hounding them for answers and most of their answers are literally copy pasta these people have zero reason to exist anymore answers. the work they do and how poor it is done should be automated because of how bad they are at their jobs and how pointless their existence is. the bot would actually be fair if properly programmed which means a bot would be objectively better as long as it isnt given the typical pro censor pro commiefornia leftest slant most bots are getting for political reasons.

Don't expect them to answer after hours or on the weekends, and expect it to take a day or two.
if its their job to answer then its reasonable to expect answers and not the copy pasta we dont care answers we currently see. a bot should never be better then a person.

Lots of people who have vented severe criticism about Steam Support, Steam, Valve, etc never even got a warning. I've thrashed them myself lots of times, not a single warning or ban for it.

Why do people create such nonsense conspiracies?

There lots of people that vent about support. The only way get warning, deleted post, or locked discussion is if try bring personal account issue, or ticket into the user public forum, which anyone will tell you never share personal private stuff, or asking for account support that can only be handle by support. Otherwise you're free to vent all you want about support.

They are closing itckets without even asking any further informations. Like nothing happened...

What problem are you having? Support might be useless in some regards (they mostly handle billing and account issues.) but the community itself can provide some insight into a situation if said situation can be resolved on your end.

Of course it all depends on what it is thus why I am asking.

So you search for this very specifically, to necro this discussion, but you don't say the issue about. Also if you're complaining about issue that isn't account related, support can't help you, and if your giving them vague, or crypted message they're not going to understand if don't explain the issue to beign with.

Okay necromancer.

They use copy-paste responses because its quicker, just reply with what you really meant and they will understand.

I know the pain because I've had to explain a bug on Steam related to pricing and it took them little back and forth before they understood but as long as you are calm and explain clearly it should finally click

One user will not get special treatment over others.
They go in order of tickets sent in.
You just have to wait your turn.
There could be 3 dozen other users in line before you. Support will not skip them to get to your issue as those other users are just as important.

And it took you a year and 1/2 to find a topic providing answers simply to disregard it. Not the best of entertainment but I'll take it.

I’m experiencing the exact same problem. My issue is billing; I can’t make any purchases.

Worse, I wait for hours only to get an automated reply from bot. Can’t the Bot at least have a decency to reply me within an hour?
