Steam has horrible customer support.
My support tickets are getting instantly closed. I get no response. My account has been banned from game hubs and I have got so many of them my entire account now gets locked for 13 weeks.

Now, I have appealed several bans and won as they were ridiculous and unjustified. I got banned one time for simply posting a violin emoji. The ban reason was simply left blank. These types of admins should not be allowed to admin.

Anyways, bans that I have appealed and won are still actively being used to lock my account down. This isn't fair. If the ban was unjustified, it should not still be used as ammunition to lock my account down. Steam will not respond to this. They just ignore it. They have no actual argument.

There should be a higher level management that gets contacted when Steam continues to ignore support tickets. I've sent countless screenshots and evidence displaying obvious contradictory things that have been said to me. One ban I got was because "subject was argumentative in nature" I'm sorry, ANYTHING can be argumentative in nature if someone else doesn't agree with it! What kind of clown show is Steam running!?

Forum admins are out of control. You can't say anything other than I agree and love everything you say, otherwise ban. Steam you really need to do better. I really wish better competition would come along and make you all run for the hills. You're out of control.

There are only two cases where this will happen.

1 - Steam support have told you previously that they will no longer respond to any further tickets on a specific subject.

2 - Your account is compromised and a malicious bot is automatically closing all your support tickets regardless of subject.

In the case of 2:

Do ALL of these. Every single one.

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
7. Make sure your steam recovery email account is secure

In the case of 1:

There is nothing you can do. You have lost your support privileges in regards to the subject you were seeking support on.

A couple things:

Community bans off of multiple forum bans is automatic and cant be lifted by support. So your "not fair other ban was lifted" is irrelevant.

If your tickets are being instantly closed with no response or note from support, it is likely your account is compromised and someone else is closing your tickets. You can research how to secure your account.

I am just brainstorming for hypothetical reasons or theories why the banishment could've happened.
I don't know why you got banned for posting a violin emoticon or emoji. I can assure you that people have posted stranger things than a picture of a violin.


I suppose posting your complaint here is as good of place as any, if you cannot reach someone directly.

It's not compromised. Steam has told me they will not respond and that's not how to treat someone that has spent thousands of dollars supporting them. I have emailed them screenshots showing direct contradictory things I have been banned for and they will not address it. They could have lifted the community ban on my account but I had to ride it out because of how lazy they are. Ignoring me while I am uploading direct evidence to the contrary. In a courtroom they would not get away with this.

Then sue them or accept the consequences of your actions.
