We did beat the boss with bare fists, did not use any other weapon including archery in coop mode and I did not get the last achievement for some reason. Does coop mode block getting the achievement?

When playing co-op with 2 Xbox Series XS controllers the button 2 is missing from the configurations, thus unable to continue playing when one of the players dies (press 2 to continue). Is there any workaround to this?
