Moved thread from Riven discussions to Myst III: Exile discussions.

I'm working my way through the Voltaic level and can't get the elevator to power up. I've done the lava room, turned on the turbine, and got the airship to crash into the door. All of the walkthroughs are telling me the elevator should work now. Is this a bug or something? I really don't want to play the entire game again for this one thing....

I have played Myst, Riven and many other point and click but I am surprised that Exile has the most problematic movement and navigation, view point appears zoomed in and very close especially Amateria age and graphics are not as uniform as in previous two games. Was it because Cyan wasn't involved in development? just published the game?...

The Myst 2021 and Riven 2024 did well, right? I hope this one also gets the same beautiful remake treatment.

When playing Myst III Exile on my MacBook Pro with Ventura OS, the game would freeze as soon as I tried to save or exit, after requesting access to my Documents folder. When I granted full disk access to the correct file the problem was solved - the *correct* game file was located here: ~>applications>library>application support>steam>steamapps>common>Myst III Exile>Exile ( ~ indicates username)...
