Is it 'Snickrix'? Is it 'Snirks' ? Or is the S silent?

Has anyone heard to seen anything from the developer? I know they were working on overhauling the game, but we haven't had an update in almost a year.

Are there any other games, no matter what platform, like SNKRX out there? I know "Brotato", but that is not 'snaky' enough for me. The game where people are walking in a behind each other, I forgot the name, didn't run on my computer. I've got "Magic Survival" (android playStore) and its most known clone, "Vampire Survivors" (here) but here you can apply the same critics. I'm searching for a rouquelike game where you control a snake. Are there any?...

Can you PLEASE remove the pause button straight up letting the game play on in the background until you die? How is that still in the game.
