I placed the cheese on the slab, the rat nibbles on it but will run away when I approach her/him. I think I'm stuck. Tips?

the game looks fun but I really don't want to deal with the dungeon, just enjoy the point & click part. and looks like there's a similarly annoying 'arcade' section in the second game as well, can that be skipped maybe?

I assume I need to bloody up the toy kobold claw , but I can't figure out how to do this.

When I watched a YouTube video of a playthrough, their game was zoomed out more. Mine is zoomed in, so I can't click the rope on the far-right side of the screen. EDIT: I set my screen resolution in Windows Settings > Display > Display Resolution to 2560 x 1600. Now I can see it. 😊...
