i was playing through, and there is a part in which i am gifted a large amount of silver dollars for conquering the commando norte and i was offered 2 instances of choices that required money or use of robots to complete, however i wasn't given the money and only had the robot choice, was this on purpose or did i miss something else in the text?...

my first time playing led to me quitting due to a rather questionable set of options. I had ended up with an incompetent navigator and a sniper as the gunner. Things went well until we reached an obvious trap. The options; go out myselfm which was clearly suicidal, send out the gunner alone, which I wasn't going to risk with such an obvious trap, or send out both. I sent out both because it seemed possible I could lose the deadweight while keeping the useful one. Nope, lost just the actually useful member ...
