I love this game to bits, but it's terribly frustrating to have a great run going, then have the game come to a complete stop, save for the music continuing to play until I kill the application. I'm on Windows 10. This problem has happened... many times. I haven't figured out yet anything I might be doing to trigger the game freeze, and I have not been able to make it resume once it stops. reposting this from itch in case i get no answers there. Whenever i boot the game it's just a complete black screen, audio plays fine as if i'm in the menu and keyboard seems to respond according to the sounds but nothing is visible

I havnt been able to get the game to play in windowed mode at all, the options and all of the other work arounds dont do anything for me. Anyone have a fix for this issue?
