If I complete the prologue with 11 days remaining will I have 11 more days to finish the rest of the game, or does it just skip those days? Should I spend my time crafting many bombs and no-doc and finish the prologue at the last day?

I'm noticing that the game seems to lag for a split second every few seconds, and it is quite annoying. I can run most games just fine with GTX 965M and i7, but this game doesnt seem to run smoothly. The problem is most noticable when im turning around the character, but even the opening cinematic before the title screen has the stutter. Is there a fix for this? I've looked around quite a bit but can't find anything....
