I don't know much about this company, so my perspective may be a little moot. I bought this a few years ago on a whim, and I wholeheartedly expected this to solely a game for "gooners," as a modern man would put it . Surprisingly, there were a few philosophically-investigative elements spiced throughout (especially toward the beginning and around the middle).

I took a look at all of the endings, which didn't take too long (about 4-5 hours being pretty closely engaged with the novel elements of the story; thanks Skip option!), considering most of the branching out of unique dialog happens after the last choice prompt.

Overall, speaking as a fan of light-complexity romance, I would play it again (buy it if I hadn't already paid 10 bucks; not to be mean, but definitely worth closer to $4-6 per copy as-is) if there was a significant extension (expanding upon some of the interesting ideas, !MILD SPOILER! -- like how Grandpa operated, what happened to his wife, if he knows more about the Beyond and possible necromancy, sci-fi-spiritual junction, and explaining exactly why malicious spirits just don't form for some reason).
