At the beginning of the game remains stuck with the moon and the bats, the cursor leaves a trail. What to do?

ive read in various places of this problem, seems noones actually found a solution sadly. so thought id make a thread in hopes that someone in the community would be able to find a solution. now im sure not everyone will run into this glitch, but for those who do we dearly need a solution, as noone likes to play a game to the end only to find out your stuck due to a glitch. so hopefully we can find a solution to the problem. ive read the suggestion of making it so you could cancle the spell which would ...

I am stuck with a spell to clear the sky from bloodrain. I have to clear the sky,i cast the spell and its says'you dont have to do this now' but my assigment is to do it.I click on the assigment,it say's clear the sky,i try and it does not work.If i don't do it,i can't go further.I have unstall and re install the game,but that did not work.And i am not the only one who is having this problem....

i had 10 blue screens in total and lost progress one time during playing this game... just wondering if it was only me?
