I had the cutscene where I was about to be executed and every time I'm asked for any last words, the game just crashes. Any idea on a fix? Or is this game just doomed?

I've tried just about everything I could find here and else where, still cant get the weapon crafting to work without crashing. I haven't had any other crashes or problems, this is the first issue I've ran into. I've tried turning steam input off, Ive tried unplugging my controller, ive tried installing japanese langauge to windows, I've tried running the game as admin. Unless I need to install some specific version of physx or something (im on the lastest version), I'm completely out of ideas. I know ...
