Yes, it was touted as the spiritual successor to the Great M1 Tank Platoon. I recall that one of the developers was ex Microprose and worked on M1 tank Platoon. I bought this way back, don't have the disks any more, but from what I remember it was a reasonable game, not as good as M1TP but better than many of what came later. Pity the graphics are so dated......

So, I log in today, to check out the store, just like I always do. What do I see in "Featured New Releases"? This game. :/ Mind you, I've nothing against classic games, and this is a good one. However, it's abandonware, and can be obtained for no cost whatsoever by simply searching for it on the web, rather than paying the ridiculous price of $4.19 to buy it (40% off!). Steam, I'm disappointed that you allow crap like this to go on. Have a little more integrity, please....

how do i actually move the gun turret everything i have tried seems not to work - neither the cursor nor the numpad keys will move it for me - yet these keys work to move teh cupola mg, and also work to steer the tank in the driver position. the turret just stays fixed pointing forward, i am at my wits end on this...

Sad that Steam is stooping to such levels, the original name of this game was M1 Tank Platoon, by Microprose (circa 1990), and I used to play this game a lot; I recognized the cartoon graphic's, I believe the original operating system was NOT Windows 7, but MS-DOS... Probably won't even run on today's computers, but it was a great game back in the day!...

Title says it all. Even when attempting to launch it through Dosbox, it fails out. If the game isn't actually supported on a given platform, why is it advertised as being so? There are far too many examples of this. GOG is getting more and more of my money all the time because at least there, I can almost certainly guarantee platform compatibility. Hell, this is an OLD game. If a proper Dosbox config or files can't be supplied, there's something terribly wrong with the quality control around here. Oh wait...
