What was in the patch?

Played a game with the AI, beat it in round (turn) 7, and came away pretty ok-ish with the play. It does some funny moves that I dont usually see playing human players, and was clever with manipulating defcon and forcing choices on me. But it also did a lot of dumb stuff (like constantly spending two OPs to break a country that I will just regain with one OP, a net loss over time) and it fails at taking advantage of AR7 as the USA, often throwing this turn away on frivolous moves whereas earlier moves wo...

Is there some general wisdom on, assuming you have the OPs for the round, when or how often you should fork your opponent, and when or how often you should just focus? Obviously cases where you dont have the OPs, are you have just enough to take a critical country are moot....

When you attempt a Coup, why does the game show two different Coup Defense numbers? The first is in the 'Target Summary' box and represents double the country's Stability, which is what the game says is the true number. However, there is a second 'Coup Defense' number at the bottom of the 'Result Preview' box and in the game I'm playing, this number is always different from the first number. There is nothing in the Tutorial and nothing in the Manual that talks about this at all. What is the difference betw...

Hahaha. its not free. Is there a mod that includes actually useful "you will lose this game if you play this move" alarm noises for this kind of crap? Just lost a super intense three hour game because I couldn't see how "free" would mean anything else, given that not including the word "free" would mean "you can make a coup attempt after placing the influence, following all normal rules" in boardgame legalese. Ooof....
