May I humbly introduce to you, the 1.0 update! At last the game is at (as far as i'm aware) a bug free state! Along with this news, cosmetics are now available either via the Steam Workshop, or.. you can even create your own! Let me walk you through the changes:

• The camera should now be more stable.

• The snake's movement should be less jerky, much smoother and more reliable.

• Cosmetics and customization; Snec, Spectres, Map color.

• Workshop released for community made content

Uhh, that might actually be it? I guess it's not a huge update, but it's been alot of work, mostly rewriting things that weren't made for the new changes.. This did all stem from a 1 Month Game Jam project, haha

But still, lots to come in the new year, 2026 will hopefully bring the 2.0 update! While i'm skeptical to say much on what they might be.. Let me just say.. Pac-Snec as it stands is a very Sandbox like game, there's not all that much content variation when you think about it, thought it's still quite fun, i mean the game that inspired it was pretty bare bones too. However, as an option for players going forward, 2.0 should be able to fix this issue, adding more variation and higher steaks. It may be a little while before it drops, but I hope you all can look forward to it! It should be a blast!
