Astra phased through the screen and pegged me HELP

Pretty short story, but you'll get what you came for here. 7/10

TL;DR: If you are here solely to appreciate high-quality character designs and illustrations, this game succeeds. But if you expect choices with meaning or characters with consistency... prepare to be disappointed. 🛑

Character Design: Flawless job. Astra and the cast are unique and visually appealing. 👩‍🎨
Visual Presentation: Polished UI and stunning background art. 🖼️
Immersive Soundtrack: The background music is well-composed, effectively capturing the tribal and adventurous atmosphere. 🎶

Meaningless Choices: Shockingly linear. Your choices only exist to unlock forced scenes, not to solve problems. 🛤️
Character Assassination: Astra is devalued into a mindless character, and Saffron is turned into a "joke" despite their history. 💔
Forgettable Sound Design: While the music is good, the general sound effects are unremarkable and repetitive. 🔉
Twisted Writing: Clumsy execution of dark themes that lacks justification, making the story feel hollow. 💀

It is a profound shame that art of this high caliber was wasted on such a hollow script. The developers sacrificed character integrity for niche tropes, forgetting that a good "Hero's Journey" needs a fair conclusion. 🏛️
The most heartbreaking part is genuinely pitying Saffron . 💔 The script reduces a "lawful spouse" trying to save his queen into a comedic villain. What this game tragically lacks is heart.
If the writing had channeled the emotional nuance of films like Before Sunset or La La Land 🎬 , allowing Saffron a genuine chance to win Astra back, the player's investment would be much higher. Even a sacrificial choice like a knight in Braveheart ⚔️ would have made him legendary. Instead, it’s just a "beautiful shell with a soulless heart."
At $5 , it's a bargain for the artwork alone. However, to justify a $12 price point and truly become a classic, the narrative needs to rise to the same masterful level as its visuals.
