This is a Slog Report, an end-of-the-month progress report to assure you that development is still enslaving me.

Firstly, I would like to provide a roadmap of the game's chapters to provide some context and what to expect. The game will have a total of 7 chapters. To give the players a better idea, this will serve as the basic roadmap:

Prologue - Currently in development. Overall a short section that acts as the prevailing setup of the story.

Opening - Fully implemented in-game.

Act 1 - This is where the multiple campaigns begin and the current state of the game. Mostly finished with some polishing needed.

Act 2, 3 and Final Act - Currently conceptual. Each of it builds off from the previous act.

Act ??? - Hidden act that may be a turning point of the story.

Progress is slow as usual, but progress accumulates regardless. Features that the previous month's report has listed are still being worked on. On top of that, there will be some minor additions and changes to expect as well.

Some character descriptions and mechanics have been slightly adjusted. Pilo's gameplay has a minor rework in hopes of having a better feel. Moving forward though, character gameplays are likely to have slight adjustments, especially since feedback is generally lacking.

The game is planned to have elements that ties the current story events into the gameplay. Without spoiling too much, there are few instances of this happening in the game, but the next update will add more of this into the early game.

One example is during side ReAct's early campaign, Alaise's summoned soldiers will be physically present in certain areas to assist you in clearing nearby enemies. This particular case aims to resolve the potentially increased difficulty and provide a better context of the current events.

That's all I have to say for this month's Slog Report. As stated from the previous Slog Report, I'm setting my sights to release this early access update at 16 December 2025. After that, I plan to publish a public demo once everything is fully ready (Date TBA). Lastly I'm going to clarify that after I release the public demo, I will still update the early access build exclusively to keep the players up-to-date with the development and hopefully gain feedback.

First of all, for those who do not know yet, my pace is mostly slow. I have to take account to almost everything in the game. I am also not one who typically make posts, so I apologize for keeping some of you in the dark. I assure you that I do not plan on dropping this project. Now, as for the report itself:

This update I am tackling on adding the much-needed prologue. This new prologue will take several years prior to the main game and act as the basic tutorial. Additionally, expect some changes for the first few story elements such as dialogue.

I have been dabbling on Steam's achievements and cloud for a bit now. Steam cloud is pretty much ready at this point, and the achievements are only lacking art assets for now.

For the next update, I will be adding the Character Archive room that is only exclusive to the early access versions of the game. Once you complete the main stories, you will be able to access it through any waypoint. The room will allow you to freely use all of the implemented characters in a confined area. I add this in hopes of gaining some thoughts and feedback.

Lastly, save files will have no problem transferring over to the new version. Expect the update to arrive at 16 December 2025.
