Why does it take so long for them to do anything when only one or two even do something? Any way to speed this up?

Hello. Running a Win10 with a very good setup - all other games work like a charm. I press play - it says choose one of three alternatives - none work. It says the game is running but nothing happenes? If i press stop it asks me if I want to quit as unsaved data and all that - what is wrong? Why does it says it starts but noghing pops up?...

i have two error messages when i try to load the game, if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. first one says run time error, abnormal program termination. the second one says fatal error could not create primary and back surfaces. fallout 1 and 2 work great, just tactics is having issues. dont see where virus protection is the problem. any help would be appreciated....

why the hate this game gets from fallout community? Is it because of the lore of the game? I understand its not a rpg but not all fallout games need to be...
