An update for for FHM12, version 12.4.40, has just been released.


In addition to the final post-trading deadline roster update, this update adds a number of new user-requested ease-of-use features and options, as well as some fixes for reported issues. Your existing savegames will be compatible with the updated game, but some issues that are data-dependent may require a new game before you see them.

Changes:

-rosters for updated as of February 8 (i.e. NHL trading deadline and some immediately subsequent moves as rosters adjusted for the moves)
-added new csv output files: player_injuries.csv, player_injury_history.csv, injuries_data.csv, human_manager.csv, league_awards.csv, league_events.csv and draft_class.csv
-added new filter options added to manager news screen:

• PM's (verious alert messages sent directly to the user)
  
• News (all regular news items
  
• Trades (all completed trades)
  
• Trade Rumors (all reported trade rumors, aside from those during the draft)
  
• Transfers (all completed player transfers)
  
• Waiver News (players exposed to waivers, aside from the automatic exposure for non-exempt minor leaguers at the start of the year, and successful waiver claims)
  
• Signings (player signings that do not extend an exisiting contract)
  
• Contract Extensions (player signings that extend an existing contract)

-added "add all players to watchlist" button in scouting reports that will place all players on the report on the watrchlist
-the option to stop simming if a player of a particular talent threshold becomes avalilable on waivers now can be set according to future talent (in addition to the existing talent option)
-added a "Clear Filtered" button on the Scouting Watch List screen, which remove all currently displayed players from the Watch List
-added rating value to the training program menu
-WHL playoff format is updated
-when a new league is added via the "Add New League" dialog the default contract basis values are now adjusted to match the league value of the new league, instead of a standard top-level league
-in fictional games, when a leauge's playoffs haven't completed when the World Cup or Olympics start, players from teams that are still active will not be eligible for international selection
