Pantheion is on Sale + Status Update!

Hey everyone!

PANTHEION is part of the Steam Autumn Sale from September 29 to October 6, 2025, starting at 10 AM PDT / 7 PM CEST, so you can grab it for a nice discount. If you’ve been waiting to jump in, this is a good time to pick it up and start building your deck.

Controller Support is coming soon!

While the sale is running, we’re also putting the final touches on full controller support. Testing is going well. If all goes as planned, we expect to roll it out in about one or two weeks. Afterwards we can focus on more gameplay features and content again.

Bugfix & Polishing (Build 59)

Greetings Champions!

We’ve just released a new update with some bug fixes and extra polish.

Thanks a ton for all the feedback! It really helps us track down issues and improve the game.

The demo is back!

Now with updated features and adjusted content, perfect to share with friends who are still not sure!

Patch Notes

New

Added a small intro animation and adjusted tutorial pages for first-time players.
Brought back the updated demo version to share with friends.
Added tooltips for Sanctum and Unveilings in the main menu to show how to unlock them.
Added a red preview highlight when dragging a card onto a Site if it can’t be played.

Bugfix

Fixed 'Brynhildr' always summoning from the leftmost slot when no Norse card was present.
Fixed 'Golden Apple' showing the wrong trigger effect type in the tooltip.
Fixed tutorial page not appearing after the boss intro as intended.
Fixed boss intros for 'Hel' and 'Medusa' being slightly misaligned.
Fixed 'Fafnir' displaying the wrong quotes.
Fixed 'Divine Herald' temporarily becoming invisible when trying to summon another card.
Fixed Mana counter sometimes getting stuck.

Update

Unveilings now unlock after finishing 1 run (instead of reaching level 1).
Slightly increased font size for card tooltips.
Rearranged stat info in the card tooltip for better readability.
Improved clarity in the description for 'Tamamo no Mae'.
Made it clearer that your game is saved at the last cleared Aeon (checkpoint).

Champions, the time has come!

We’re excited to announce that Pantheion is officially released as of August 15th, 2025!

About the game

Build a deck with cards from different mythologies, from the mighty Zeus to Odin. Face a series of challenging encounters and stop the Primordial Forces from destroying the world!

You’ll need to think carefully to overcome the Sites’ curse effects. A colossal Deity might crush the competition, but a swarm of clever Followers might win through synergy and decide the victory.

And thank you for playing our demo!

We hope you’ve enjoyed it so far and your feedback has been invaluable. But the demo will be available later again for anyone who wants to share it with friends and it will receive updates from the full game. However, certain features will remain exclusive to the full release.

What’s new?

A new Era where you can choose a Divine Gift with unique effects to aid your journey.
New unlockable cards for deckbuilding and strategic depth.
New Primordial Forces with progressive difficulty for a greater challenge.

The 3 locations, different limits and gathering "power" reminded me a lot of the Marvel Snap mechanics. Anyone else feel the similarity?

The user interface is quite elegant,
Art is gorgeous,
Gameplay proves to be a pretty good brain teaser.

Above all, you get to have arsenal of gods, epic.
Greek and Norse mythology, usually gets paired up alongside Egyptain and Hindu Pantheons,
But here we see Japanese mythology, and that is pretty cool too.

(All I would ask is to have a even more developed gallery view.
Like magnifying the art and the lore when you right click on the cards,
That would add so much to my enjoyment.)
Other than that:

Ascension levels of cards getting resets after continuing back from menu.

I noticed this, as I wanted to make sure, how much I am able to divide my game experience into smaller portions; it is because I enjoy dividing my attention between many games. Then again, this is not that important, but still it feels like something works in an unintentional way here. Wanted to let you guys know. ^^...

Re: Demo

Looks pretty interesting. Obviously I completely understand (and support) the idea of not giving away too much in the demo but having played through it I'm not really sure what to expect from the full game. If the full game had much more robust deckbuilding and synergy, and maybe some other modes, some kind of meta-progression or pack-buying, whatever it might be, none of that is made obvious in the demo. Maybe that stuff doesn't exist and the full game is really just more of the same ... and that's cool ...

Feedback On Game

I hope this feedback helps if the game gets patches in the future. 1. The text on cards, sites, etc. is way too small to read it, and currently, its my first big reason why I haven't bought the full game and am only playing the demo. The tutorial text seems to be a good size to read it, but I feel like all cards and sites in the game should be the same size as what the tutorial messages since I can't even read the effects on cards to see if they are even good. It was also frustating me when I can't even r...
