Playing Long Campaign as the Axis and the Red air force is kicking my butt. I send my dive bombers and level bombers with one squadron of fighters and the Soviets send up 2-3 squadrons of fighters, resulting in my planes taking more casualties nearly every time. Playing Case Blue long as the Axis. Have read the manual and still unsure if I can load up troops from the 11th Army in the Crimea and have them land and assault South of Rostov. I have transfered much of the heavy artillery and even a couple full divisions by rail to 17th Army to add strength since taking Rostov is tough. I have once again indulged in DC: CB, but this time taking it much slower, consulting the manual, Watching supply, integrity, readiness levels more closely. Thinking about ZOC capture of hexes before moving (and after), and all the little nuances that make this such a great military simulation.
