I only see maybe a couple of people on every few days or so. Is this game still active?

Just bought the game last night , 09/24/2025, and really liking what I've seen thus far. My questions: >When the initial 3-month premium block included with the purchase of the game runs out is there an option to pay for more than 3 months at a time afterwards? >Is the game played on other platforms besides Steam? seen this today had a look on the tube but could only find 7 plus year old tried to find today stuff or upto date but only find that the community as thinned out. I dont mind being alone in space but i dont want to purchase only to find the game has closed in a week. is there any plans on closing the game completely or will it stay open for many years to come?...
