Haven't seen any updates in some time. Is Vulture still being worked on?

I love NetHack and I love the artstyle of Falcon's Eye therefore I really appreciate having Vulture as a continuation of it. That said, Vulture is far from perfect and to this day one can still encounter crashes and bugs. Are there any plans on updates that attempt to fix these issues and also, will Vulture support 3.6.7?...

Is it possible to start a new game after dying but without having to restart the game itself? The game quits every single time I die and I know it's not a big issue but it'd be much easier if I could just continue playing through a main menu or something like that....
